Make a pitstop, load a cooler, unload firewood. When you need bed access, lower the lift and drop the tailgate. Then raise it back up and keep driving.
Rock solid where trays wobble.
Solid steel peg clamps grip the bike at its strongest points and from there it's steel all the way through—clamps, frame, and a quarter-inch steel shank seated in your receiver. No suspension or tires in the path, no sway, no working loose.
Lifted by KYB.
Our actuator had to be bulletproof, so we spent two years testing every option we could get our hands on. After thousands of cycles on actuators from around the world, we picked the best we could find. If you ride, you already know the name. KYB makes the suspension on a lot of high-end bikes.
We obsess about the details.

A waterproof switch, sealed power plug, and waterproof Delphi connectors keep the lift going through rain, mud, and washdowns.

Steel clamps grip the bike at its strongest points. All thread for universal bike fit.

A powder-coated steel frame that holds up to weather and road grime.

A quarter-inch neoprene pad—water-jet cut and riveted in place.

Takes the slop out of the receiver so the load doesn't wobble. Built by CURT.

Hitch height and platform position adjust independently to match your tailgate and your bike.
It started with Search & Rescue.
Our partner Mike needed a faster, more secure way to haul his e-moto on Volcano Rescue Team missions—without losing access to the bed of his truck. When nothing on the market did the job, he started building. After two and a half years of testing and iterating, we built the Loowit Lift.

Got questions?
Will it fit my bike?
It will work with bikes under 350 lb with a skid plate. Some bikes with round or angled skid plates require a leveling block. More on leveling blocks here.
What if I don't know if I have power at my trailer plug?
Here's a short guide on how to test for power and what to do if you don't have it.
Does it work with a spare tire?
Yes, the long (12") hitch tongue will clear most spare tires. Refer to the clearance page for more information.
Does it work with a camper or canopy?
Yes. When in the down position, most camper doors clear the lift and all canopy's that we've tested will clear the lift.
What happens if the motor fails?
There is a manual relief valve that can be opened with a 3mm hex key. If the lift loses power, you can open the valve and manually move to the top or bottom positions.
What's the warranty?
One year, no questions. You can find more on our warranty on our FAQ page.
Does it work with 2.5" receiver?
You will need your own adapter to fit a 2.5" receiver.
How heavy is it?
The lift is 69.6 pounds with the standard receiver, 71.8 with the long. It's lighter than most of the tray style racks on the market which are often over 100 lbs.
Do you ship outside the US?
Not yet. But send us a message and we'll add you to our list so you're the first to know when we do.
